The On-Site Festival Experience strategyis based on education, youth and sportthree essential principles that form the foundation of the YOGOC's work.Its aim is to encourage the active participation of young people by considering their views, comments and suggestions.
This strategy aims to ensure that the YOGOC's youth-related initiatives are organised in a coordinated, coherent and comprehensive manner..
The Dakar En Jeux Festival is a multi-disciplinary cultural and sporting
event. Its main objective is to encourage young people in Senegal to take
ownership of the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games.
Held annually since 2022, it is the major annual event focusing on arts, culture and sport,with young people, by young people and for young
people.
For five days, sporting competitions, initiation sessions, cultural events and
sharing of Olympic values will take place in the three cities that will host the
games in 2026, namely Dakar, Diamniadio and Saly.
The 4th edition will
take place from 4 to 9 November 2025 and will be open to other African
countries.
An international FIFA Futsal competition for the U15 category will be held at Dakar Arena in preparation for the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games.
